EYNE CHURCH

  • Church of Eyne
  • The Sant Miquel church is a Baroque construction dating from 1749 with a single nave lined with two side chapels. This building has a remarkable altarpiece in the nave with polychrome statues dedicated to its patron saints. The parish church has two small altarpieces of Christ on the cross and the Virgin of the Rosary. Also, the rest of the furniture is made up of a copy of the 13th century virgin, an 18th century processional cross and imposing Romanesque granite baptismal fonts. A wall bell tower tops the building but the clock is located in a wall bell tower built in 1905, nearby in the old presbytery.
