It is closed during the Christmas holidays. The cave re-opens during the February holidays from 11am to 4pm (last entrance). AMONGST SHADOWS & LIGHTS: AN IMMERSION IN THE HEART OF A MAJOR NATURAL SITE The Grandes Canalettes Cave is a private family site. It is located at the foot of the Canigou Mountain, 300 metres from the medieval city fortified by Vauban: Villefranche de Conflent, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visit the cave in full autonomy: a guided tour is available on your smartphone at your own pace and in your own language. A permanent Sound & Light attraction is held at Angkor Temple.
